Ukulele Is The New Black

May 24, 2020

Here’s my third New York interview – this time with Gwendolyn Fitz, ukulele player and founder of the Brooklyn Ukulele Festival.  We had a chat in my hotel room on a day when there was unfortunately a lot of noisy maintenance going on in the hotel.  I’ve done my best to minimise it in this episode but hey – I suppose it gives our conversation some genuine New York flavour!

Given the current environment, the Brooklyn Ukulele Festival won’t be running in the way Gwendolyn originally intended – but the good news is that it is still going ahead on June 12-13 in a virtual format.  Full details will be available on 1st June on gwendolynfitzmusic.com, so make sure you go there and subscribe to the mailing list.
